About this platform
The LVMH Sustainability & Innovation Hub is an interactive e-learning platform designed to equip all LVMH employees — across every Maison, every role, and every region — with the knowledge, language, and confidence to contribute to one of the most important transformations in luxury’s history.
LVMH’s LIFE 360 strategy sets ambitious targets for 2030. This platform is one of the tools we are building to ensure that every person across our Group understands what those targets mean — and what their role is in achieving them.
We believe that informed employees are empowered employees. And empowered employees are the foundation of a more sustainable, more resilient, and more enduring luxury industry.
This platform was developed as part of an ALM in Digital Media Design capstone project at Harvard Extension School, in alignment with LVMH’s publicly stated LIFE 360 sustainability commitments.
Our Purpose
Luxury has always stood for the finest materials, the most skilled craftsmanship, and the most enduring design. Sustaining that standard for future generations requires a fundamental shift in how we think, create, and operate.
This platform exists to make that shift accessible to everyone at LVMH — from the master artisan in the atelier to the retail associate on the boutique floor, from the sustainability manager tracking global metrics to the logistics coordinator optimising supply chains. Sustainability is not the responsibility of one team or one Maison. It belongs to all of us.
What you will learn:
This platform is structured around LVMH's LIFE 360 framework — our Group's comprehensive sustainability strategy built on four interconnected pillars:
🌿 Module 1 — Creative Circularity
Rethinking how we design, produce, and recover materials to eliminate waste and keep resources in use.
🌍 Module 2 — Biodiversity
Protecting and restoring the natural ecosystems that make luxury possible — from the botanicals in our fragrances to the landscapes that define our Maisons.
☀️ Module 3 — Climate
Understanding our carbon footprint, our renewable energy commitments, and the actions each of us can take to support LVMH's path to net zero.
🔍 Module 4 — Traceability & Transparency
Knowing where our materials come from, how our products are made, and why openness about that journey is central to the future of luxury.
How This Platform Was Designed:
This Hub was built using the principles of backward design — starting with the outcomes we want every learner to achieve, then designing the experiences most likely to get them there.
Each module integrates six learning frameworks — constructivism, cognitivism, behaviorism, connectivism, experiential learning, and transformative learning — to ensure that content is not only understood, but retained, applied, and acted upon.
Learning pathways are tailored to three distinct employee profiles, reflecting the reality that a master leather artisan, a retail associate, and a sustainability manager each bring different knowledge, responsibilities, and needs to this material.
